Damages are sorted as either special or general. In India, in case of engine vehicle accidents there is no time confinement for bringing a case for compensation. In torts, special damages are measurable costs which can be ordered such as therapeutic expenses, lost earnings, and property damages whereas general damages incorporate less measurable costs such as torment and suffering, loss of consortium, the effects of criticism, and passionate distress. Personal injury torts may result in claims for both special and general damages.
